We are hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to deploy custom, white-labeled platforms directly onto private institutional and corporate architectures.

Role: Forward Deployed Engineer

Noida Sector 18 (Hybrid) Full-Time Edge & Systems

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at NMI, you will operate at the intersection of systems development, client-side compilation, and on-site deployment. We build proprietary, isolated ERP platforms that organizations fully own, rather than generic software-as-a-service.

You will compile custom, white-labeled client binaries, coordinate local network setups, configure geofenced RISC-V edge-compute node hardware clusters for zero-lag offline operations, and audit cryptographic database ledger integrity.

Technical Prerequisites

Experience compiling native Capacitor plugins and bridging Javascript/Typescript code to native Java/Kotlin (Android) and Swift (iOS).

Familiarity compiling toolchains and deploying target binaries for RISC-V compute nodes and geofenced local edge servers.

Solid understanding of Tauri desktop wrapper configuration, building Rust-based shells, and binding system-level filesystem hooks.

Strong database design knowledge: PostgreSQL schemas, Row Level Security (RLS) rules, replication systems, and cryptographically signed ledger logs.

Comfortable working on-site with institutional clients to transition legacy systems, configure subnets, and host local server hardware.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble and compile custom white-labeled Android, iOS, and Desktop binaries for specific school/corporate clients.

Deploy, configure, and maintain geofenced RISC-V edge hardware servers for reliable offline-first application performance.

Establish isolated, high-availability PostgreSQL instances with automated backup mechanisms and immutable ledger logs.

Audit client transaction security and train technical personnel on encryption keys and local network configurations.
